Follow these step-by-step troubleshooting tips to get the app running smoothly again on your iPad, tablet, or smartphone.

If TippyTalk isn't working as expected or is behaving inconsistently, don't worry, most issues can be resolved quickly by following the steps below. Work through them one at a time, checking after each step to see if the problem is resolved.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Check your internet connection - make sure your iPad, tablet, or smartphone has a stable Wi-Fi or cellular data connection. TippyTalk requires an internet connection for most functions. If your connection is weak or unstable, try moving closer to your router or switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data.
  2. Close and reopen the app - fully close the TippyTalk app and reopen it. This can clear minor glitches that may be causing the issue
  3. Restart your device - turn your device off completely and turn it back on. A full restart can resolve many common app performance issues.
  4. Check for app updates - make sure you're running the latest version of TippyTalk. Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), search for TippyTalk, and install any available updates
  5. Delete and reinstall the app - if the problem persists, try deleting the app and reinstalling it from the App Store or Google Play. Don't worry — your account data is securely saved on our server and will not be lost when you uninstall the app
