How to change who is set as the TippyTalker

Accidentally set yourself as the TippyTalker?

If you've accidentally assigned yourself as the TippyTalker, don't worry, it's an easy fix. All you need to do is update the name in the TippyTalker's profile.

Here's how:

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Log in as the Community Owner using your email address and password.
  2. Find the TippyTalker profile: on the welcome screen, where you'll see "Hey, [your name]!", tap the TippyTalker icon below the greeting.
  3. Open profile settings: tap the icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
  4. Tap "Edit Profile".
  5. Update the name: change the name in the profile to the correct person who should be set as the TippyTalker.
  6. Tap "Save": the TippyTalker profile will now display the correct name.

Things to keep in mind

  • Only the Community Owner can edit the TippyTalker profile, so make sure you're logged in to the right account.
  • This change only updates the name displayed on the TippyTalker profile, it does not affect any other account settings or community members.
